SR 32 IMPROVEMENTS

SR 32 Area Improvements, Eastgate to Batavia (Segment IVa)

After collecting and reviewing comments received at the July 17, 2014, public open house, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has selected a preferred alternative for the SR 32 Area Improvments, Eastgate to Batavia Project. A “preferred alternative” is a term that denotes the conclusion of a federally-mandated study process.

Another public open house was held on June 9, 2015, to discuss updated improvement plans for SR 32, between Eastgate Boulevard and Olive Branch-Stonelick Road. The purpose of the open house was to update the public on the project’s development and to give an opportunity for the public to provide input.

In addition, ODOT and the Clermont County Transportation Improvement District are currently exploring funding options for related project components. To date, the CCTID has received funds from the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) to construct the Clepper Lane extension, and improvements on Old SR 74 from Schoolhouse Road to Glen Este-Withamsville Road. This work will improve access in the area as well as to and from SR 32. Construction of these project elements will begin in 2019.
